Augmented reality, virtual reality and wearable technology, often covering overlapping definitions, represent a larger segment of interest in the future-oriented game development community. Google Glass, Oculus Rift, Leap Motion and Project Morpheus are just a few of the product and brands names you already might be familiar with who are joining this emerging field.
Along with a new field comes new conferences, summits and expos to showcase the technology, service and software companies growing with the field itself. One of these events is the Augmented World Expo 2014 (AWE 2014). Next week, AWE 2014 will take place at the Santa Clara Convention Center from May 27-29.
If you’re interested in checking out AWE’s presentation of AR, VR and wearable tech, the organizers have made it easier to join up and join in. An official expo pass discount code has just been released that kicks down the cost of attendance from $99 to $19. The code is “EXP99DD” and can be applied through the registration page on the top of the first page. This pass type will allow attendees access to the expo floor on May 28th and 29th.
