30th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards Seeking Game Industry Submissions

September is shaping up to be a big month for the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS). D.I.C.E Europe (Athens) is coming up toward the end of the month. But also, D.I.C.E has made a key announcement for the 30th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards.

AIAS, one of the most established video game industry professional trade organizations is now accepting submissions for the 30th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards. Representing over 30,000 development and creative members, the AIAS continues its professed commitment to recognizing excellence among peers currently working in games.

This year marks a significant shift in the awards process with the introduction of a new ranked choice voting system. By asking Academy members to rank their favorite nominated games in order of preference, the organization aims to make sure that the winning title in each category reflects broader support from the development community.

The D.I.C.E. Awards have long served as one of the key standards for celebrating technical and creative innovation in interactive entertainment. With the opening of the milestone 30th annual iteration of the awards, the AIAS is inviting creators to submit their work for consideration.

Developers looking to participate must be sure their submissions are finalized before the deadline, but at least they have plenty of time. Submissions close Tuesday, December 8, 2026, at 5 PM PT. For those interested in the full scope of eligibility requirements, official rules and procedures are available on the organization’s website and their official post about the 30th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards.
