We’ve assembled an exclusively curated list of game industry events you can attend in March 2026. This month’s gatherings are one of the most prominent of the year for high-stakes conferences with many emphasizing AI scaling strategies and capital deployment as companies refine their game development roadmaps for the remainder of 2026.
With AI integration continuing to shape development and monetization decisions, March events bring together studio leaders and technology partners to align on production pipelines, and frankly, to just make as much money as they can from AI-everything. As momentum builds toward major spring showcases such as Game Developers Conference, indie teams in particular are using this window to finalize partnerships and secure those precious memory-everything agreements ahead of a crowded Q2 calendar.
Speaking of memory, on the industry front, hardware cost pressures remain a key and rather depressing theme. Memory and storage pricing continues to skyrocket into the stratosphere by unending AI infrastructure demand with leading suppliers prioritizing high-margin data center contracts against us little folks. This has kept DRAM and NAND markets tight, contributing to sustained cost pressure across PCs, consoles, and handheld platforms. While some short-term pricing stabilization is emerging, analysts expect structurally higher component costs to remain a factor through 2026, and probably 2027, as AI-driven capacity allocation continues to reshape semiconductor supply chains.
Featured Events

March’s calendar shifts into full swing with a broader mix of global gatherings and connectivity-focused meetups. Leading the month is Game Developers Conference (Mar 9–13), the industry’s flagship developer event where design, tech, production, and business converge with panels, matchmaking, and networking across the ecosystem.
Around GDC are several complementary opportunities including Courage XL 2026 (Mar 8), an indie showcase that brings dozens of creators together the night before GDC officially begins; and MeetToMatch – The San Francisco Edition 2026 (Mar 9–13), a pre-arranged business meeting platform designed to optimize schedules during a busy week of sessions.
Other notable March events include the Ukie Conference 2026 in London (Mar 5) bringing the UK games ecosystem together for insight and collaboration; Mobidictum Career in Games 2026 (Mar 6) focused on networking and growth in mobile gaming; and Digital Gaming India Expo 2026 (Mar 23–25) facilitating tech showcases.
Community and culture-oriented meetups round out the month with gamescom LAN 2026 (Mar 20–22) in Cologne and PAX East (Mar 26–29) in Boston, both offering broad engagement across players, developers, and publishers alike.
Whether you’re aiming to layer business relationships around GDC or connect with players and partners at global festivals, March’s slate gives studios and creators multiple platforms to solidify momentum and visibility as the year unfolds.
