As we head toward the end of 2026, more events for 2027 are opening their registration portals for their 2027 events. Today, the one we’re calling attention to is the 2027 D.I.C.E. Summit and the 30th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards, with newly-announced registration and early bird rates as well. The conference is scheduled to run from Tuesday, February 16, through Thursday, February 18, 2027.
Bonus: new year, new venue. The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences has confirmed that the 2027 D.I.C.E. Summit will be held at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, next door to their prior venue on the Las Vegas Strip, the Aria Resort & Casino, marking a change in venue for this industry gathering.
The 2027 D.I.C.E. Summit is organized under a past-present-future kind of formatted theme, specifically “Legacy. Reality. Possibility.” The programming is designed to address the current climate of the gaming industry, including discussions on the challenges of game development, sustainable practices, and the evolving ways in which audiences engage with interactive entertainment. These sessions are intended to provide a space for professionals to review the history of the medium, discuss the current industry landscape, and consider potential future directions for development and design.
In addition to general conference attendance, the Academy is currently accepting programming proposals for those interested in speaking or presenting at the summit. Organizers are seeking pitches across three tracks: speaker sessions (including fireside chats and panels), roundtable discussion leaders, and workshop leaders. Each submission requires contact details, company, a short speaker biography, a proposal title, and a tentative description, with supporting attachments up to 25MB. Applicants pitching multiple categories must file a separate proposal for each.
