The gamescom congress is Europe’s leading conference on the potential of computer and video games in society and the economy. Covering a broad spectrum of topics, the congress shows that game technologies help to inspire innovations and master digitalization in nearly all economic and social spheres.
This year marks the 18th edition of the gamescom congress. It brings together representatives from the fields of culture, education, politics, science and the media, as well as representatives from various economic sectors, to discuss the diverse opportunities offered by computer and video games across a wide range of fields. Last year, for the first time, more than 1,000 visitors and 180 speakers took part.

This year, the gamescom congress will again take place as part of gamescom – on site in Cologne and digitally on the web.
