BitSummit PUNCH 2026 Announces Official Streamer Roster and New Program Details

The BitSummit Executive Committee has confirmed the official creator lineup and streaming schedule for BitSummit PUNCH, Japan’s largest indie game festival, set for Friday, May 22, 2026, through Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Kyoto. The 14th annual event aims to promote independent titles to a global audience.

The official roster of supporting streamers and creators includes Donpisha and Pechanko (SANNINSHOW), FB777 and eoheoh (MSS Project), SPYGEAOniya, and Dogma Kazami. These creators will be central to two key streaming programs, broadcast live in Japanese from the Official PR Supporters’ Special Booth on the BitSummit Official YouTube Channel:

  1. Creators Talk: Developers and designers will discuss the creation process of popular indie games while playing them live.
    • Featured Creators: FB777, eoheoh (MSS Project), and Dogma Kazami.
    • Schedule: Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM.
  2. PUNCH PLAY LIVE: An official showcase where popular streamers play through various exhibited titles.
    • Featured Creators: FB777, eoheoh, Dogma Kazami, Donpisha, and Pechanko.
    • Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, with two slots each day (11:45 AM – 2:15 PM and 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM).

Additionally, the “BitSummit Game Jam 2026” page has officially launched, inviting young creators and students to rapidly prototype projects based on the theme, “Punch: Break Through,” which signals a focus on breakthrough talent and ideas. A significant update for 2026 is the introduction of an XR category to embrace emerging extended reality technologies. All completed Game Jam works will receive a showcase during the main BitSummit PUNCH event, so attendees can experience these XR projects for themselves. Sponsors supporting the Game Jam include familiar developer-focused companies like CyberAgent, Pixai, and AWS.

BitSummit has grown substantially since its inception, growing from 200 attendees in 2013 to over 58,000 in 2025. As it’s grown, it’s become recognized globally by major industry conferences and publications. The event is organized by the BitSummit Executive Committee (including the Japan Independent Games Association—JIGA) and is co-hosted by KYOTO CMEX. Major sponsors include ID@Xbox, Xsolla, and Cygames.
