Another time-sensitive opportunity to consider is the second Community Hack at AWE, which is scheduled to run from June 8th to 18th, 2026. The objective is to build co-located experiences centered on joy and play.
The hackathon features a hybrid schedule. First there will be remote and in-person activity at USC from June 8th to 14th, then followed by the in-person finale to be hosted at AWE USA 2026 in Long Beach, CA, from June 15th to 18th.
Projects will target multiple platforms, including Snap Spectacles (for two dedicated teams), Meta Quest, XREAL/Android XR, Apple Vision Pro, and mobile devices.
