Video Games Live Show Line-Up Announced for Comic-Con 2014

The Video Games Live video games music extravaganza will be heading to Comic-Con 2014 in San Diego. The Comic-Con show will be held on the evening of Thursday July 24th, in concert (see what I did there?) with the San Diego Symphony, at the Embarcadero Marina Park South venue.

Here’s the good stuff, straight from the announcement:

“The performance will include…

Popular video game cover band Critical Hit to perform featuring Blizzard composer Jason Hayes and cello sensation Tina Guo.

A special 30th Anniversary Tetris Opera celebration featuring vocal soloist Jillian Aversa.

Internet sensation guitarist Viking Jesus.

AND MORE!  Including fan favorites such as Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear Solid, Skyrim, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Castlevania, Portal and Sonic!!

All of the Special Guests will be available to meet after the show during our Meet & Greet which is open to all ticket holders.

Come early for the Costume Contest as well as games provided by Game Stop!

Looney Labs will be awarding packages for it’s very popular Fluxx card game to certain lucky ticket holders!”

The good news for folks in the San Diego area is that there’s no need to be Comic-Con badge holder to attend. The registration page complete with details and background on Video Games Live can be found on this page. For those who want to go a step beyond to the “VIP experience”, that particular bundle can be purchased separately as an add-on only to the concert ticket here.
