Events for Gamers Offers Discord Channel for Game Industry Professionals

For hundreds of millions around the world, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected their ability to go about day-to-day life. Among the many changes are hundreds of canceled, postponed or online-only events, as many companies and individual professionals shift to working remotely.

Events for Gamers is aware of what a massive change in the events and games industry has come to pass in the last one to two months — as we have had to remove or put on-hold a lot of events we’d expect to see on the calendar by this time of year.

Losing the chance at learning in some key conferences and expos will certainly affect the game industry this year but we want to do our part to encourage doors to connections, whether in sharing ideas or opportunities or even just to commiserate about working from home, between game industry professionals of all kinds.
