Online Services Summit 2026

The Online Services Summit brings together senior online services and backend engineers, tech leads, and studio leadership for a full day focused on the hard parts of running games online: identity and accounts, matchmaking, player data, live operations, and what happens when a launch goes better than planned.

There is no expo floor and no sales track. Sessions are fireside chats, a keynote, and small roundtables, with plenty of time between them to compare notes with people solving the same problems.

The latest edition is hosted at Avalanche Studios Group’s headquarters in Stockholm, with an invite list drawn from studios across the Nordics and Europe. Previous summits in Los Angeles and Amsterdam brought together engineers from Sony, Epic, Riot, Respawn, Activision, Ubisoft, Netflix, Warner Bros. Games, Dreamhaven, System Era, and Gardens.
