NERDICon LE 2026

NERDICON is back! The business conference for the games and creative industries will enter its latest edition – this time directly within the framework of CAGGTUS Leipzig and one day before the main trade fair weekend. With two stages and a workshop area, NERDICON offers space for exchange, knowledge transfer, and genuine encounters between developers, studios, companies, students, and decision-makers. The focus is on practical talks, open discussions, and targeted networking – approachable, honest, and on equal footing.

Behind NERDICon is an experienced team from the gaming and events industry: NERDIC, an agency for gaming events, marketing, and consulting, which has made a name for itself through projects such as the NERDIC in TOWN tour and the Games Ground – Berlin Gaming Festival. Also on board is Marcus Klöppel, Professor of Game Design & Development at Macromedia University of Applied Sciences Leipzig and former organizer of the Long Night of Computer Games Leipzig. His research focuses on narrative structures in games and the application of gamification in the fields of health and education. The project is supported by Emilia Weigelt as project manager for Marcus Klöppel.
