PAX East 2025 has just wrapped up in Boston. Like most PAX events, this was a massive convention sprawling across several venues, tens of thousands of attendees, and massive hundred thousand square feet of space. And if you had attended, especially for more than one day, then you likely recognized that planning what to pack in advance is essential.
Even if you have attended a larger event before, you almost certainly know what it’s like to realize you hadn’t brought something important like a fully-charged battery charger, comfortable shoes, enough cash, or something else important like that. I’ve certainly been in that position myself.
Enter Pyra Sydannia‘s YouTube video. In this recent 20+ minute video, she lays out some of the key things that she was packing for her trip to PAX East 2025 as an attendee with a media badge. Among some of the suggestions are the bags she’d use, wallet and what to keep in it, earbuds, mobile gaming accessories, health and medical kit, business cards, a gimbal for her recoding setup, pens, and more. (Granted, what anyone might want or need at a show will vary based on their personal circumstances.)
