DOFUS Magazine will be available in digital format

Feb 14 2011 12:00 AM | Events For Gamers in Industry Related

Roubaix, France – 14th February, 2011 – The 1st edition of an international version of DOFUS magazine, the official magazine packed with everything you need to know about the universes created by ANKAMA, will be released on the 1st April, 2011.

ANKAMA would like to announce the release of a digital version of DOFUS Magazine, translated entirely into English and Spanish. This publication, which will be available on the dedicated web portal www.dofusmagazine.com every two months, in association with the British publisher Cranberry Publishing Ltd., will act as a guide book, artbook and an insight into behind the scenes at Ankama, all rolled into one.

DOFUS Magazine will bring you exclusive information about all ANKAMA products, including works in progress and video game walkthroughs, pre-publication of the comics, tutorials, interviews with community members and background information for RPG players. This roughly 100 page is from now on, available internationally in digital format.

Two options, plenty of presents
The reader can choose between purchasing the magazine one issue at a time (€6.99 / $7.99 / £4.99 per issue), or taking out an annual subscription (€29.34 / $33.54 / £20.94 for 6 issues).

Each edition has its own lottery token, which will give the readers several in-game presents.

Those who take out an annual subscription will also receive a token to win a Khamelerost Dragoturkey and a Mini Wa.

Pre-sale begins on the 4th February
You will be able to pre-purchase the magazine starting today, the 4th of February, on the website www.dofusmagazine.com, until the magazine’s release date in April.
Those who take out an annual subscription during this pre-sale period will also be rewarded with the Black Wab Set.

The Readers
DOFUS magazine is aimed at both DOFUS fans and fans of video games alike. It will give you an insight into the video game creation process at one of the biggest independent games studios.

Whilst many MMORPG guidebooks become outdated very quickly, this magazine will show you the work in progress on all Ankama Games productions. Its aim is to allow you to follow the game’s evolution, so you can better appreciate the final result “in-game”.

About ANKAMA Group
Founded by Anthony Roux, Camille Chafer and Emmanuel Darras in Roubaix in 2001, ANKAMA is an independent group which produces digital creations and employs over 450 people. The international success of the group’s MMORPG DOFUS, with more than 40 million players, enabled ANKAMA to branch out into several related industries: online games, publishing, animations, web design, press, mobile phone services, video games for next gen’ consoles. ANKAMA is also developing Wakfu, a transmedia project composed of animated cartoon, video game, card game and comic book. For more information, visit our official website: www.ankama-group.com

Aboout DOFUS magazine
DOFUS Mag is a bimonthly combination of magazine and book, of about 100 pages, which provides you with news on all the latest developments at Ankama. This game guide and artbook rolled into one will unveil exclusive information on all ANKAMA productions: including work in progress and video game walkthroughs, pre-publication of the comics, tutorials, interviews with community members and background information for RPG fans.
