SOE Fan Faire 2010 Roundup, EverQuest Next Announced

SOE Fan Faire 2010 took place over this past weekend in Las Vegas, where the NEXT EverQuest was announced! The game doesn't have an official name yet, so they are calling it "EverQuest Next" for the time being. SOE has started soliciting suggestions for the new MMO in the series.

It's sounds like "EverQuest Next" will be a reboot of sorts, and apparently SOE made mention of being able to transfer characters from EQ 1 & 2. Few details are available at this time. You can view the EverQuest Next panel on Massively. Here's a piece of in-game art. EverQuest meets Free Realms?
