We’re excited to announce our new website which has been in development for some time now. Since we launched Events For Gamers back in 2007, we’ve dedicated ourselves to keeping the site focused on tracking important news and information about upcoming game industry events.

Quite often it can be difficult to find a particular event's location, time, hotel and flight specials, or even what they are about! Our goal with Events For Gamers 2.0 is to bring all critical event information to one easy to reference location, so you don't miss out or waste time searching.

With the new site, we give you more control in updating events, submitting news about them, and suggesting features that simply weren't possible before. For VIP and event coordinators, there is an exclusive private area in the discussion forums, as well as direct control of your event pages.

Here are just some of the features available:

We hope that you enjoy discovering the new website and that you find it easy to navigate and useful. Everything is organized according to the individual events and their associated sub-events (GDC and Game Career Seminar for example). Use the event's exclusive landing page to look up dates, fees, and anything else event coordinators ask us to place there.

Over the next few days there are bound to be issues we've missed, and there are a few parts of the forum system which still need a bit of paintwork (are you a forum skin expert?). Speaking of support, we need volunteers to help us in expanding the many features here. If you're a knowledgeable web developer, please contact us!
