G-Star 2012 May be Hosted by Non-governmental Organization

It is learnt that G-Star, the largest game show in South Korea, which has been hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of Culture) over the past years, may start to be hosted by a non-governmental organization from 2012.

The Ministry of Culture announced on January 4 that it intends to hander over the hosting right of G-Star to a non-governmental organization. It also indicated that they are working to make a concrete plan for the handover, and currently they are looking for a non-governmental organization which has strong financial capability and rich international exchange experience to take over G-Star.
