Gamehorizon Conference 2010 & 2011 Speaker Details

Sep 22 2010 12:00 AM | Events For Gamers in GameHorizon

Videos of the eight speaker sessions from GameHorizon Conference 2010 are now available for public viewing. They include the sessions delivered by some of the games industry’s most influential players such as Jesse Schell, Charles Cecil and Peter Molyneux.

To celebrate the release of the videos GameHorizon is delighted to announce Louis Castle, CEO of InstantAction Inc, as their first speaker for the 2011 conference.

Louis Castle is the Co-Founder of Westwood Studios, former VP of Creative Development for Electronic Arts, and serves as the CEO of Instant Action Inc. an IAC (IACI) company.

Castle’s session will be entitled ‘The future of digital entertainment distribution’ and will explore the top existing methods of distributing entertainment media, focusing on interactive entertainment and the lessons the games industry should take away from other digital media.

Speaking about his session, Louis Castle said: “The trends are clear and although the exact technology is uncertain this talk will argue for the characteristics that must be part of the best solutions.”

Conference Director Carri Cunliffe said: “It’s fantastic to have Louis Castle on board, he is a truly inspiring member of the games industry and I’m confident that his session will inspire delegates at the 2011 GameHorizon Conference. I hope that everyone enjoys watching the 2010 conference videos now that they are live. The GameHorizon team and I are busy making sure that the 2011 conference will be even bigger and better.”

GameHorizon Conference 2011 will take place on the 28th and 29th June at The Sage Gateshead. Tickets are currently available for £119.00 + VAT with the promotional code ghc_2010 until Thursday 30th September.
