BigWorld boosts technology access for indie developers
'BigWorld Indie', 'BigWorld Indie Source' and 'BigWorld Academic'
(Sydney, Australia): BigWorld Pty Ltd. today announced the launch of three new product offerings for indie, student and small commercial developers of Massively Multiplayer Online Games (MMOGs) and large scale online virtual worlds, with BigWorld Indie available immediately.
GAME British Academy Video Games Awards in 2010
The 2010 GAME British Academy Video Games Awards will take place on Friday 19 March 2010 and will be at the London Hilton on Park Lane, 22 Park Lane. Hosted by Comedian and avid gamer Dara O’Briain for the second year running, the awards will be streamed live for the first time at www.bafta.org and www.baftagameaward.com

TIGA today endorsed a report by The National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA), Playing the Game, which provides insights into practical support, such as mentoring and advice, which can help early stage games businesses to grow and to compete with overseas rivals.
