Orccon welcomes our 2013 Guest of Honor Richard Breese! Richard has been designing and publishing games since 1989. Richard is known for his 'Key series' family of games as well as other games such as Aladdin's Dragons, Fowl Play!, Reef Encounter and The BoardGameGeek Game.
Orccon 2013 also welcomes Special Guests Justin and Ann-Marie De Witt of Fireside Games! Their huge hit game Castle Panic is a great fantasy cooperative game that was featured on Wil Wheaton's Tabletop and their new dice game Bears! is one of the last year's best new family games. They will be demonstrating their games and playtesting new Fireside titles at the convention.
National Catan Championship Qualifiers, Friday night at 8pm and Saturday night at 5pm with the Finals on Sunday at 11am! Register early so you can get in on this awesome event!
Settlers of Catan not your thing? That's quite alright! There will be a 7 Wonders MEGA tournament on Monday at 9am--the grand prize is $50 in dealer dollars! Don't miss your chance!
Valentine's Day is scary--very, very scary--especially when trying to profess your undying love to Great Old Ones! Mike Kelly is hosting a Call of Cthulhu LARP both Saturday and Sunday at 6pm! Get in on the action and register for this...festive...event!
Want to go to Orccon, but aren't certain you can swing the $50 for the full weekend? There is a way to get in for FREE! That's right, FREE! Become a volunteer and spend 8 hours working for the convention to get your badge--a few departments who could use assistance during the convention include Board Games, RPGs/LARPs, Marketing, Miniatures, Collectibles, and more! Find out how you can get in on the fun!
