Gamescom is a trade fair for video games held annually at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The event is used by many video game developers to show off their upcoming games and game-related hardware.
Gamescom is the world’s largest games event with 325,000 visitors, more than 7,500 journalists and 600 exhibitors from 45 countries attending the show. It was first held August 19-23, 2009.
