About Brazil Game Show

 

The Brazil Game Show Expo began as a small gaming event in the Latin American game market called Rio Game Show. After the first event with 4,000 participants, and a second one with about 8,000, the Rio Game Show was renamed the Brazil Game Show (BGS) and received 30,000 visitors during its two-day event.

The Brasil Game Show (BGS) has grown significantly. In 2009 the event hosted 12,160 visitors. In 2010 the show received more than 20,000 visitors over the two-day event, occupying three times the area used in the previous year. In 2011, the largest game show in the country will establish itself as the leading industry event in Latin America. The fourth edition of the BGS will be bigger and better. The show will be held from October 5th through the 9th, 2011. During this week there will be major championships, an industry conference, concerts with national and international artists, plus a show extravaganza with over 70 exhibitors from across Brazil and abroad. In 2011 the show will double in size over the 2010 event, occupying approximately 16,000 square meters and it will be prepared to receive an estimated 40,000 visitors.
