  • About Women In Games

Women in Games International works to promote the inclusion and advancement of women in the global games industry. We believe diversifying the game development, media, academic and publishing workplace results in not only a more equitable space, but better products.

Women In Games International advocates for issues important to both women and men in the game development industry, including a better work/life balance and healthy working conditions.

First, we are committed to the promotion and sponsorship of events such as conferences, mixers, workshops and seminars that help women break into and thrive within the game development world.

Second, we seek to identify and promote collaborations and connections between industry and the academic that can help us better understand the industry, our games, and women's vital role in both.

Finally, we are constantly searching for new methods to increase and retain qualified and talented women in the industry, and will expand our efforts accordingly.
